The #MondayNightDanceParty is a communal music event started in 2012. It's run by [[@jdscolam]] every Monday night at 8:30PM CST, using [[MNDP.tv]] to request and listen to music together.
Often, the DJs will update the MNDP.tv front page with a message of the day or theme for the dance party.

https://mndp.tv hosts a web app to chat and interact. That's the [[MNDP.tv]] app on Pnut. You may also use a chat-capable Pnut app with channel 600, e.g., [https://beta.pnut.io/messages/600 Chat room 600] on the [[Beta|Beta web app]] or [https://patter.chat/room/600 Chat room 600] on the [[Patter|Patter web app]], just to chat and see requests from the [[@mndp]] bot.
==Alternative Apps==
In Spring 2021, [[@rafaelcosta]] added dance party playback to [[Arachis]], and a websocket web app was built by [[@33MHz]], at https://mndp.tv/play.

As of [[January 6]], 2020, https://mndp.tv/playlist shows recently played requests, live. https://mndp.tv/playlists has each week parsed more completely (but only updated once a week).
